At Shree Jagannath Go Seva Sansthanam, we provide dedicated services for the rescue, treatment, and rehabilitation of stray cattle in Puri and nearby areas. Our services are designed to ensure timely medical care, safe shelter, and long-term support for injured and abandoned cattle.

🐄 24×7 Stray Cattle Rescue & Treatment

Our trained volunteers and veterinary team work round the clock to rescue injured and sick stray cattle from accident spots. Immediate first aid and emergency care are provided on-site. This ensures no animal suffers unattended, day or night.

🐄 Indoor Treatment Facility (15 Beds)

We operate Odisha’s first dedicated stray cattle hospital with a 15-bed capacity. Here, cattle receive continuous care, proper nutrition, and professional veterinary attention. It is a safe and hygienic space for recovery.

🐄 Animal Ambulance Service

Our free ambulance service transports injured cattle safely with the help of trained handlers. Equipped for first aid and emergency support, it ensures quick response during accidents. This service is available to the public without any charges.

🐄 Operation Theatre & Surgery Facility

We provide a fully functional operation theatre for major and minor surgeries. Experienced veterinary doctors perform procedures to treat fractures, wounds, and complex injuries. This facility saves many lives that otherwise would not survive.

🐄 Rehabilitation & Shelter (Niladri Go Seva Ashram)

Recovered but disabled or abandoned cattle are shifted to our Niladri Go Seva Ashram, Chhaitana. With space for 100+ cattle, it serves as a long-term shelter. Here, animals live with dignity, care, and compassion.

🐄 Ritual & Carcass Management

For cattle that cannot survive, we ensure dignified rituals and safe carcass disposal in line with tradition. This prevents public health hazards and honors the sanctity of the cow. Every life is respected, even in its last moments.
