Shree Jagannath Go Seva Sansthanam began its journey in 2017 at Baghaakhada Matha, Badasankha, Puri, with the vision of helping stray cattle during accidents and sickness. We operate round the clock (24×7) to provide rescue, treatment, and rehabilitation for stray cattle in Puri town and surrounding areas.
Our ideology is to research and address the problems of stray cattleโcovering their food habits, causes of sickness, road accidents, and rehabilitation needsโwhile creating a sustainable model for their care.

Festival & Emergency Management
Managing stray cattle during large festivals, especially the Car Festival (Rath Yatra), has always been a challenge for the District Administration and Veterinary Department.
- In 2018 (Urban Hat, Puri) and 2019 (Bagala Dharmasala, Puri), our organization was entrusted with the responsibility of managing temporary shelters.
- With proper planning, trained manpower, and CCTV monitoring, we ensured zero casualties and received full satisfaction and appreciation from the District Administration.
